WHERE TO PARK YOUR CAR

There are several car parks at the bus terminal, Piazzale Roma. However, they are pretty expensive, costing between Euro 20 and Euro 40 per day. You can see at this link prices and location of main parking: http://www.asmvenezia.it/

You may want to consider a car park in Mestre (the mainland of Venice). You can then reach downtown Venice and our place by train or bus. For example, there is a car park just in front of the Mestre train station (Parking Stazione), which costs Euro 8 per day. A train ticket or bus ticket to Venice is Euro 1.00 and the trip only takes 10 minutes.

There are also other cheaper parkings (Park 2000 and Park Terminal -click to see details-) in "Via Righi" (click here for the map) before the "Ponte della Liberta", the bridge who connect the mainland to Venice. The park costs 4.50 euro per day and from there you can catch any bus to go to Venice (Piazzale Roma) in just 5 minutes.

HOW TO REACH "BBvenezia" FROM

 MAIN TRAIN STATION "VENEZIA SANTA LUCIA" 

or PIAZZALE ROMA (CAR/BUS TERMINAL)

 

From the main train station of  "Venezia Santa Lucia" or Piazzale Roma (the bus terminal), catch water bus line #51 or #61 or # 41 (fast lines, about 25 minutes) or #1 (panoramic journey through the Gran Canal, it takes about 1 hour) and get off at S.Elena stop. From S.Elena only 2 minutes walking, the B&B is a yellow building facing to the park and the lagoon. 

 

 

By private water-taxi (from the Railway Station or from Piazzale Roma) - approximately 60 Euro. Ask the taxi driver for S.Elena. Look at the map below.

 

 

Water-buses to and from S. Elena

A 10 minutes trip by vaporetto or a 20 minutes walk along the lagoon takes you to Piazza San Marco, the timeless, throbbing heart as quickly to the Lido, the site, in September, of the Venice Film Festival and its congregation of international movie stars. The Sant'Elena is easily reached by vaporetto (water-bus public transportation) (7 lines: 1, 41, 51, 61, 42, 52, 62, N and seasonally line 82) from all areas of Venice including Santa Lucia railway station, Piazzale Roma's parking, Marco Polo Venice Airport, Murano, Burano and Giudecca.
